Bufo Alvarius - Tulum

Rooms were lovely, but security was alarming.

The double room is individual with nice lighting and clothes or open suitcase. They serve outstanding food, have plenty of options to choose from...

Marvellous location, it was close enough to the centre of Tulum touristy area, and the nature. Besides, Tulum Monkey Sanctuary was 2 km away from the venue. Overall it was beautifully decorated in the shared bathroom.

We loved our family trip during the Big Basket festival. The vibrant atmosphere and local crafts added so much joy to our stay. The spacious apartment terrace was perfect for evening chats and relaxing after a day of exploring Tulum.

My kids wished for a few more activities for families.

The property has a marvellous and favourable location, just off scooter & bicycle rental shop, the town center and the centre of Tulum touristy area. Also, it's 4 miles away from a national park.

It was cosy, functional and in the shared bathroom.

I really enjoyed the beautiful pool area and the cozy shared kitchen where I cooked a few meals . There are lovely sun loungers by the pool and ample space. While the Wi-Fi could be a bit spotty at times, it didn't take away from my great experience 🌞

the room is individual and functional, comes with the shared bathroom, the shower. the staff are very friendly, managed the parking on-site.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, close to everything I wanted to explore. I tried the Gold and Platinum packages for the unique medicines like Bufo, Kambo, and mushrooms. The transformation I experienced was profound, and the staff were kind and cute. They created a safe space for deep personal work, which I appreciated. My check-in was a bit chaotic. I arrived to find my room already occupied and was moved without proper notice. This led to an awkward situation where I had to shift rooms the next day. Security was also a concern as my door was left ajar at times. While the shared showers were clean, I faced a scary moment when I got stuck inside due to a faulty latch. Prompt attention to security and maintenance would enhance the overall experience.

Very nice atmosphere and supportive community

I had a transformative week here, facilitated by a caring staff during my Kambo and Bufo ceremonies. The location strikes a perfect balance between tranquility and accessibility to town and beach, and I loved connecting with fellow travelers who shared similar goals. A bit more variety in dining options on-site would enhance the experience.

Bufo Alvarius offers a wonderful blend of serenity and convenience. The location is central, with access to both the beach and the town. The staff is really good, and the on-site cafe serves delicious meals. The shared kitchen is well-equipped for preparing meals, and the pool is beautifully maintained.

The room was quite small and could use better ventilation.

Magical, Magical, Magical

The serene atmosphere enveloped me as soon as I stepped inside. I loved the cozy allure of the Double Room with Private Bathroom, which reminded me of my own personal haven. The pool area was nothing short of fine.

The location was fantastic, offering easy access to everything yet providing a peaceful atmosphere. The ceremonies I attended were executed with genuine love and care. A huge thank you to Mario, Lynne, and Esteban for their excellent facilitation. I also met amazing people, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained.
